DeepSider User Agreement

This user agreement applies to the DeepSider browser extension (hereinafter referred to as 'DeepSider'). DeepSider is a browser extension that allows users to engage in AI conversations with the DeepSeek R1 and DeepSeek V3 models in the sidebar of browser web pages. Please read and fully understand this agreement before using DeepSider, especially the clauses related to exemption or limitation of liability, rights licensing, applicable laws, and dispute resolution. By using DeepSider, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

1.DeepSider is primarily intended for adults. If you are under 18 years old, please read and fully understand this agreement under the guidance of your legal guardian and obtain their consent before using it.

2.When using the AI conversation feature provided by DeepSider, ensure that the content you input does not infringe on the rights of others, does not involve inappropriate or explicit content, and does not include politically sensitive material. All input must comply with legal and regulatory requirements. If we find that you intentionally input prohibited content, guide the AI to generate inappropriate content, and disseminate false information, causing harm to us, DeepSider reserves the right to permanently ban your account and pursue legal action.

3.The AI conversation feature of DeepSider relies on third-party generative AI models. The output is for reference only and should not be used as professional advice, for commercial purposes, or for other objectives. You should not treat the output as a credible source of information for dissemination. For situations that may significantly impact you or related parties (e.g., medical, financial, investment, or insurance-related scenarios), we recommend consulting relevant professionals. The output provided by DeepSider should not be the basis for your further actions or inactions. Any decisions or subsequent actions you take based on the output are your sole responsibility, including risks arising from reliance on the accuracy, completeness, reliability, non-infringement, or suitability for specific purposes of the output. You should use generative AI technology rationally and in accordance with the law.

4.You acknowledge and understand that all content generated by DeepSider is produced by AI models and may not be entirely rational. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or functionality of the generated content and assume no legal liability. We are not responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused by the use of DeepSider's output. Users are solely responsible for the consequences of decisions or actions based on the output. DeepSider strives to provide accurate and stable technical services, but the content generated by AI models does not represent DeepSider's attitudes, views, or positions. When using DeepSider to consult on medical, legal, or related issues, the information provided is for reference only and does not constitute medical advice, legal advice, or treatment methods. We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of DeepSider.

5.To enhance user experience, improve services, or ensure security, we may periodically provide updates or changes to DeepSider (including but not limited to modifications, upgrades, replacements, feature enhancements, or new services). We will notify you in an appropriate manner when feasible.

6.You may stop using DeepSider at any time, and we may also cease providing services to you or impose new restrictions on DeepSider at any time.

7.Unless expressly authorized by us in writing, you may not engage in unauthorized access or use of DeepSider, including but not limited to adaptation, cracking, copying, dissemination, vertical search, mirroring, or trading.

8.You understand that using DeepSider requires you to prepare the necessary terminal devices (e.g., computers, phones, etc.). Once you access DeepSider on a terminal device, it is considered that you are using DeepSider. To fully utilize DeepSider's features, you may need to connect your terminal device to the internet, and you are responsible for any associated costs (e.g., data fees, internet charges).

9.We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and non-commercial license to use DeepSider legally. All other rights not expressly granted in this agreement are reserved by us. You must obtain our written permission before exercising these rights. Our failure to exercise any rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

You are responsible for your use of DeepSider. Unless permitted by law or with our prior written consent, you must not engage in the following activities while using DeepSider:

1.Using any unauthorized plugins, extensions, systems, or third-party tools to interfere with, disrupt, modify, or otherwise affect the normal operation of DeepSider.

2.Engaging in any activities that harm computer network security, including but not limited to:

(1)Illegally infiltrating networks, disrupting normal network functions, or stealing network data;

(2)Providing programs or tools specifically designed to infiltrate networks, disrupt normal network functions, or steal network data;

(3)Providing technical support, advertising, payment settlement, or other assistance to those engaged in activities that harm network security;

(4)Using unauthorized data or accessing unauthorized servers/accounts;

(5)Unauthorized access to public computer networks or others' computer systems to delete, modify, or add stored information;

(6)Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerabilities of DeepSider's systems or networks, or engaging in other activities that undermine network security;

(7)Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of DeepSider's systems or websites, intentionally spreading malicious programs or viruses, or engaging in other activities that disrupt normal network services;

(8)Forging TCP/IP packet names or partial names;

(9)Reverse engineering, reverse assembling, reverse compiling, translating, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code, models, algorithms, or underlying components of DeepSider;

(10)Maliciously registering DeepSider accounts, including but not limited to frequent or bulk account registration;

(11)Developing applications, products, services, or models that compete with us or our affiliates;

(12)Violating laws, regulations, this agreement, our related rules, or infringing on the legitimate rights and interests of others.

3.Impersonating others or gaining unauthorized access to DeepSider.

4.Using or targeting DeepSider for fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities, including but not limited to presenting AI-generated answers as human-generated, engaging in plagiarism or academic dishonesty, phishing, or other illegal activities.

5.Using DeepSider in a manner that may infringe on the privacy of any third party, such as illegally collecting or disclosing personal identity information, educational, financial, or other protected records, including addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, identification numbers (e.g., social security numbers, passport numbers), or credit card numbers.

6.If we have reason to believe that you are using generative AI services for illegal activities or violating the above terms, we may independently judge and take action without prior notice, including but not limited to warnings, functional restrictions, suspension, or termination of services, and pursue legal liability.

7.The information you input, output/generate, create, comment on, upload, publish, or disseminate must comply with laws, regulations, public order, social ethics, core socialist values, national interests, and the legitimate rights and interests of others. Otherwise, we reserve the right to take appropriate measures. You must not use or allow others to use DeepSider to engage in the following activities:

(1)Opposing the fundamental principles established by the Constitution;

(2)Endangering national security and interests, or leaking state secrets;

(3)Subverting state power, overthrowing the socialist system, damaging the national image, inciting secession, or undermining national unity and social stability;

(4)Damaging national honor and interests;

(5)Promoting terrorism or extremism;

(6)Inciting ethnic hatred or undermining national unity;

(7)Promoting discrimination or hatred, exploiting vulnerabilities based on age, social, physical, or mental characteristics to distort behavior, causing or potentially causing physical or psychological harm to individuals or groups, including but not limited to civil, religious, national, gender, sexual orientation, age, occupational, health, or regional discrimination;

(8)Engaging in or assisting illegal or high-risk activities, such as military and war-related activities, developing weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials, managing or operating critical infrastructure (e.g., transportation, energy), creating or distributing controlled substances or services, generating or disseminating information related to self-harm, or engaging in activities with high economic damage risks, including gambling, automated credit eligibility determination, employment, or educational decision-making;

(9)Undermining national religious policies or promoting cults and feudal superstitions;

(10)Fabricating, spreading rumors, or false information to disrupt economic or social order or destabilize society;

(11)Disseminating, promoting, or inciting violence, obscenity, pornography, gambling, murder, terrorism, or criminal activities;

(12)Exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors, damaging their physical or mental health, or infringing on their legitimate rights and interests;

(13)Insulting, defaming, offending, bullying, or controlling others, infringing on their legitimate rights and interests;

(14)Threatening or intimidating others with violence or conducting doxxing;

(15)Involving others' privacy, personal information, or data;

(16)Spreading vulgar language or undermining social ethics;

(17)Violating business ethics, infringing on trade secrets, privacy rights, reputation, honor, portrait rights, intellectual property, or other legitimate rights and interests;

(18)Spreading commercial advertisements, similar commercial solicitations, excessive marketing, or spam;

(19)Using languages other than the commonly used languages on this website for comments;

(20)Posting irrelevant comments;

(21)Posting meaningless information or deliberately using character combinations to evade technical reviews;

(22)Taking unauthorized photos or recordings of others, infringing on their legal rights;

(23)Including content involving terror, violence, high-risk activities, or endangering the health of performers or others, including but not limited to:

i. Any violent and/or self-harm content;

ii. Any content threatening life or health, using dangerous tools or instruments that endanger oneself or others;

iii. Encouraging or inducing others to participate in dangerous or illegal activities that may cause physical harm or death;

(24) Other information that violates laws, regulations, policies, social ethics, disrupts DeepSider's normal operations, or infringes on the legitimate rights and interests of other users or third parties.

8.If you violate this user agreement or relevant laws and regulations, we reserve the right to take one or more measures, including warnings, temporary bans, content deletion or blocking, permanent account suspension, or reporting to relevant regulatory authorities. For commercial violations or actions causing economic losses to us, you may be required to compensate for the damages. For criminal activities, we will actively assist judicial authorities in investigation and prosecution, holding the perpetrators criminally responsible.

9.You may report illegal activities, illegal dissemination, or harmful information to us. We will promptly handle your complaints and reports to create a positive online environment.

DeepSider is committed to protecting your personal information (i.e., information that can independently identify you or identify you in combination with other information), and this is one of our fundamental principles. During the use of DeepSider and related services, you may need to provide your personal information so that we can offer you better services and corresponding technical support. We will protect your rights to browse, review, copy, correct, modify, supplement, delete relevant personal information, and withdraw authorization in accordance with the law. We will also use encryption technology, anonymization processing, and other technical and security measures matching DeepSider and related services to protect your personal information. For more information on the protection of user personal information, please refer to the 'Privacy Policy'.

1.The services provided by DeepSider are offered based on the current state achievable with existing technology and conditions. DeepSider will make every effort to provide you with services, ensuring their continuity and security. However, DeepSider cannot foresee and prevent all technological and other risks. You understand and agree that, for the needs of overall service operations and platform security, DeepSider has the right to decide on service/function settings, scope, modifications, interruptions, suspensions, or terminations of DeepSider and related services based on specific circumstances.

2.DeepSider reserves the right to interrupt services to users under the following circumstances, including but not limited to:

(1) Technical Failures: In the event of force majeure or unforeseen incidents such as system failures, maintenance upgrades, network attacks, or third-party service imperfections that prevent the normal provision of services, we have the right to temporarily interrupt services for emergency repairs.

(2) User Violations: If a user violates this User Agreement or relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to posting illegal information, infringing on others' rights, or conducting malicious attacks, DeepSider has the right to interrupt or terminate services based on the severity of the violation.

(3) Policy Adjustments: If changes in national laws, regulations, policy requirements, or industry standards necessitate adjustments or discontinuation of certain services, we have the right to notify users in advance and interrupt the relevant services.

(4) Other Justifiable Reasons: We may deem it necessary to interrupt services to protect user rights, maintain system security and stability, or comply with public interests for other justifiable reasons.

3.In the event of service interruption, DeepSider will make every effort to identify and repair the faults to restore services as soon as possible.

1.During your use of DeepSider, you may submit text or other content (collectively referred to as 'Input') and receive content generated in response to your input (referred to as 'Output' or 'Generated Content'). Between you and us, within the scope permitted by applicable law, the intellectual property rights of the input you provide belong to you or the lawful rights holder. We do not claim ownership of the output content. However, to avoid any misunderstanding, if the input and/or output contains content that DeepSider owns intellectual property rights or other legitimate interests in, the aforementioned rights to such input and/or output shall remain with DeepSider and shall not change ownership merely because they are included in the output. You understand and agree that for any or all of the information content (collectively referred to as 'Information Content') that you input, generate, publish, or disseminate through DeepSider and related services, you grant DeepSider a free, worldwide, perpetual license, allowing us and/or our affiliates to use the information content you provide to optimize models and services. The aforementioned license is transferable and can be sublicensed or sublicensed. You understand and undertake that the input should be content that you own intellectual property rights to or have obtained lawful authorization from the rights holder, and there should be no content that violates applicable laws and regulations, infringes on the legitimate rights and interests of others (including but not limited to copyrights, patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, as well as personal rights, personal information rights, and other legitimate interests), or violates public order and good morals.

2.You understand and agree that the content generated (including but not limited to text, images, etc.) and the technology itself provided by DeepSider's generative AI services belong to the category of intellectual property rights of us or the relevant rights holders. In principle, you have the basic right to use the generated content of DeepSider, including but not limited to personal learning, research, non-commercial creation, and other lawful purposes. In non-commercial use scenarios, you are not required to specifically credit the AI model or platform, but we encourage you to indicate 'This content is assisted by the DeepSeek model' in an appropriate place. Without explicit written permission, you may not use the generated content for any commercial purposes, including but not limited to sales, advertising, promotion, product packaging, etc. You understand and agree that generative AI services and their generated content may involve third-party intellectual property rights, and you should ensure that you do not infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of any third parties when using the generated content. If any disputes, complaints, or legal liabilities arise from your improper use of the generated content, you shall bear them yourself.

3.Except for the above two provisions, the intellectual property rights and related interests of the content provided by DeepSider (including but not limited to products, technologies, programs, web pages, text, images, graphics, audio, video, charts, layout designs, electronic documents, etc.) belong to us. The copyrights, patents, and other intellectual property rights of the products on which DeepSider provides services belong to our affiliates or the corresponding other rights holders. Without permission, no one may use (including but not limited to monitoring, copying, disseminating, displaying, mirroring, uploading, downloading, etc. through any robots, 'spiders,' or other programs or devices) the content of DeepSider and related services.

4.You are not allowed to use any trademarks, service marks, trade names, domains, website names, logos (LOGO), URLs, or other distinctive brand features of DeepSider without our prior written consent. You may not display, use, or apply for trademark registration, domain name registration, or otherwise indicate or imply that you have the right to display, use, or otherwise handle these marks in any way. If you violate this agreement by using DeepSider's trademarks or marks and cause losses to us or others, you shall bear full legal responsibility.

1.In the event of your violation of this agreement or other service terms, DeepSider has the right to independently determine and take measures such as prior warning, refusal to publish, immediate cessation of information transmission, restriction of part or all of the account functions, termination of service provision, or permanent account closure. DeepSider shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from your inability to use the account and related services normally, or your inability to access assets or other rights within your account. DeepSider has the right to announce the results of the handling and decide whether to restore the use of the relevant account based on the actual situation. For behaviors suspected of violating laws and regulations or committing crimes, DeepSider will keep relevant records and has the right to report to the competent authorities, cooperate with investigations, or file a report with the public security authorities. DeepSider has the right not to restore deleted content.

2.If your violation of this agreement or other service terms causes complaints or litigation claims from third parties, you shall handle them yourself and bear all possible legal responsibilities. If your illegal, infringing, or breaching behavior causes us and our affiliates, controlling companies, or successor companies to compensate any third party or suffer penalties from state organs, you shall fully compensate us and our affiliates, controlling companies, or successor companies for all losses suffered.

3.DeepSider respects and protects the intellectual property rights, reputation rights, name rights, privacy rights, portrait rights, and other legitimate rights and interests of users and others. You warrant that the text, images, videos, audio, links, or other content you input, generate, upload, produce, comment on, publish, or disseminate through the AI conversation feature does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, reputation rights, name rights, privacy rights, or other rights and/or legitimate interests. Otherwise, DeepSider has the right to remove the allegedly infringing content upon receiving notice from the rights holder or relevant parties. You shall handle all rights claims made by third parties and bear all possible legal responsibilities arising therefrom. If your infringing behavior causes losses to DeepSider and our affiliates, controlling companies, or successor companies (including economic and reputational losses), you shall fully compensate DeepSider and our affiliates, controlling companies, or successor companies for all losses suffered.

1.You understand and agree that DeepSider may be affected or disrupted by various factors. We do not guarantee (including but not limited to):

(1)DeepSider will fully meet the user's requirements for use;

(2)DeepSider will be free from interference, timely, secure, reliable, and error-free; any products, services, or other materials obtained by users through DeepSider will meet their expectations;

(3)Any errors in DeepSider will be corrected.

2.You understand and agree that during the use of DeepSider, you may encounter force majeure and other factors (force majeure refers to objective events that cannot be foreseen, overcome, or avoided). These include, but are not limited to, natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, typhoons), government actions, wars, strikes, and riots. In the event of force majeure, DeepSider will endeavor to repair and restore services as soon as possible. However, DeepSider shall not be liable for any suspension, termination, or losses caused by force majeure, to the extent permitted by law.

3.DeepSider has the right to handle illegal or non-compliant content as stipulated in this agreement. This right does not constitute an obligation or commitment on our part, and DeepSider cannot guarantee the timely detection of illegal activities or corresponding actions.

4.You understand and agree that DeepSider does not provide any express or implied warranties or conditions, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You shall bear the risks associated with your own use.

5.You understand and agree that this agreement is designed to ensure compliance with national laws and regulations, maintain public order and good morals, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of users and others. We will make every effort to make judgments in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, but we cannot guarantee that DeepSider's judgments will be consistent with those of judicial or administrative authorities. You have understood and agree to bear the consequences arising therefrom.

6.In no event shall DeepSider or its affiliates or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other losses arising from your use of DeepSider. Unless otherwise specified by law, the total liability of DeepSider to you for any reason or manner of action shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us during the period of using the service (if any).

1.DeepSider values the protection of personal information of minors (i.e., individuals under the age of 18). If you are a minor, you must carefully read and agree to this agreement under the supervision, guidance, and consent of a guardian before using DeepSider.

2.Minor users should enhance personal protection awareness and exercise caution when providing personal information. They should use DeepSider correctly under the guidance and consent of a guardian.

3.Minor users and their guardians understand and confirm that if you violate laws and regulations or the terms of this agreement, you and your guardian shall bear all legal responsibilities arising therefrom in accordance with the law.

4.Special Notice for Minor Users:

(1) Minors should use DeepSider under the supervision and guidance of their guardians, learn to use the internet properly within a reasonable scope, avoid becoming addicted to virtual cyberspace, and develop good internet habits.

(2) Minor users must comply with the 'National Youth Internet Civilization Convention'.

5.DeepSider fully understands the importance of protecting minors and will take corresponding protective measures in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices. At the same time, guardians are requested to reasonably guide and restrain minor users' use of DeepSider. For example, guardians should properly keep minor users' account information, regularly check account usage, and ensure that minor users comply with platform regulations and laws. Guardians should also supervise and review the content generated by the AI models provided by DeepSider to ensure that it is healthy, positive, and lawful, and avoid any involvement of inappropriate content or infringement of others' rights. If guardians find any abnormal behavior in minor users' accounts or any harm caused by inappropriate content, they should promptly report or complain to DeepSider.

6.To better protect the privacy rights of minors, DeepSider reminds you to strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations and to carefully publish content containing minors' materials. Once published, it is deemed that you have obtained the rights holder's consent to display minors' portraits, voices, and other information on DeepSider and allow DeepSider to use and process such content related to minors in accordance with this agreement.

The formation, effectiveness, performance, interpretation, and resolution of disputes under this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. In the event of any dispute arising from the conclusion, performance, or interpretation of this agreement, the parties shall endeavor to resolve the dispute through friendly consultation. If the consultation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the competent court where the DeepSider developer is domiciled. If any provision of this agreement is invalid or unenforceable due to conflict with the laws of the People's Republic of China, such provisions shall be interpreted and used as closely as possible to the original purpose of the agreement without violating the law, and the other provisions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect. To provide you with better services or in response to changes in national laws, regulations, policies, technical conditions, or product functions, we may revise this agreement from time to time. The revised content forms part of this agreement. To keep abreast of the latest version of this agreement, you may review it on the relevant pages of DeepSider. Your continued use of DeepSider indicates your acceptance of the revised terms of this agreement. If you have any objections to the revised terms, please immediately cease logging in or using DeepSider. Your continued login or use of DeepSider is deemed as your recognition and acceptance of the revised terms.
